I was concerned that an old HP 14" laptop (about 2.5cm thick) would not fit, but it fits perfectly. This is a quality compact bag with good padding and a padded interior. The padding near the zipper should also protect the edges of the laptop from zipper damage. It is also nice that it has foldable handles on the side and a shoulder strap that can also be stowed in one of the side pockets. This is exactly what I was looking for, a soft but relatively compact laptop sleeve with enough pockets for the power adapter and mouse and at an affordable price for a quality case.
