Incredibly lighter yet warmer coffee/tea than other heavier opaque ceramic mugs. I was surprised! With love! I've looked at many different double wall glass mugs with handles but this one seems to have what I was looking for - a handle that makes it comfortable to hold a full cup of coffee/tea because it is balanced with the bowl of the mug . I also like that the top of the mug isn't as "thick" as the bottom - it's easier to drink from the mug without spilling. It has an ergonomic design. The smooth surface and good transparency of the glass contribute to the enjoyment of the coffee/tea experience. The glass is of very good quality. And my package arrived so well wrapped they were all intact not broken! (not EZ with any type of glassware). Conclusion: This mug keeps your hot drink warm and is still comfortable to hold when filled with hot coffee/tea. The top rim is just right for sipping on a hot drink - it's not too wide. The smooth transparency of the glass adds visual appeal and tea/coffee enjoyment. When summer comes, these mugs are also suitable for cold drinks. hp I bought 2 more sets as gifts because they are such high quality and very important: so beautifully packaged and presented. Perfect as a gift for friends and family.
