Cheap but the bulb is offset leaving a dark shadow on the left side
I've been servicing this old DLP for cheap projection lamps for years. This brand worked, but the bulb is misaligned, a condition I've never encountered when changing a bulb. As a result, there is a dark area several inches wide on the left side of the screen. Lamps from famous brands are increasing in price, so this time I went cheaper. The set can appear once you get used to it, but Black Friday brings a new 4k LED set and the DLP set goes to the shooting range behind 40.
