I take Accutane and now my skin is very sensitive to the sun. I drive for a living so I spend a lot of hours outside and this thing has never let me down. I literally don't remember getting burned wearing it. In terms of fit, it's stretchy and a bit loose, making it easy to flip upside down. But the mask stays on the nose well and you never feel it fall off because of the ear loops or anything like that. I always farted in other neck gaiters without an ear loop and they always fell off because of my hair. I'm surprised more companies that make them don't use ear loops like these guys do. In fact, it's a required feature. The back seems to cover the neck quite well too. So because of the efficiency? no doubt it works. In terms of fit, it stays on your face and across the bridge of your nose. This is a "loose" fit, but not so loose that it literally falls off. it just fits well. I'm a man with an average head size, but you should be fine too. highly recommended.
