These were my favorite all round shoes, I've had at least 3 pairs and each lasted about 2 years. I have worn these shoes on everything from mountain climbing, hiking trails, downtown shopping, winter, summer to beaches, they have held up fantastic. You sit so comfortably even after many hours of walking and standing. I am very disappointed that these old shoes were my last pair as the quality control has dropped drastically. The backs of the new pair already fall off from the factory, there will be no new ones out of the box! I have no idea how they passed quality control. The rubber also has scuff marks, possibly because they were worn once and sent back. On my two-year-old pair, you can see that the soles are still intact after thousands of miles. There are scratches but no holes. I'll have to wear this old pair for a while while I look for a better replacement. There is a chance these shoes are better in store but I will never buy them from Revain again.
