You need to adjust the size to fit your hand.
You really need to adjust it to your hand size as it can be dangerous to put a needle in the wrong palm. However, it's easy to resize to fit your hand as long as you have a hole punch to make new holes and strong scissors or leather cutters. After resizing I was comfortable with it, but wouldn't let anyone use it because it's about the size of my hand.
