This is amazing at only $80. However, I installed mine in a newly built patio cover. The information that is not available in the description is that there is a Bluetooth module that must be connected to a regular 115 socket. The module is small, maybe 1.5"x4". The module cable is 3 to 5 feet long. I really can't remember. The acoustic wire goes from the module to the speakers. So they are not "wireless". Be sure to stretch the wire. As far as function goes, they're great. They are loud and the sound quality is good. I created "boxes" with about 2 cubic feet of air. By boxes I mean I installed the fire blocks in the rafters on either side of the speaker. They're not sealed, but they sound good. Not sure if I disturbed the bass or not as I installed both speakers in their "boxes". The bass is ok but if I had to do it again I would try without the speakers. Only from curiosity. They sound good the way they are. Would buy again. There are no problems with the Bluetooth connection.
