Take a different pad.

All parts fit 2005 Dodge Durango 4.7L 4x. The only problem I had was the cork seal. I think it's leaking which means I need to replace it.

Perfect fit no leaks 2005 Ram 1500 4x4

Fits my 2005 Ram 1500 4x4 perfectly. Gasket fits, no leaks. All filters fit perfectly and we are of excellent quality. The whole process took about 1.5 hours. I recommend it to anyone doing this job.

A good set works well make sure you install the new gasket correctly

It would be nice if they sent instructions advising you to install the gasket with a gasket installation tool or - fitting into the valve body must have the desired diameter. Please ensure the old gasket is removed when removing the old flat filter and use the sleeve and extension to insert the new gasket into the valve body. I didn't and I learned it the hard way. Luckily the 454RFE gear didn't burn out unless fluid got into it.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • There are nuances

Exact fit for 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 with 4.7L engine and 454rfe transmission. Couldn't beat the price. THIS IS FOR 4X4. NOT 2WD. The 4x4 has a longer and more central pickup tube on the pickup pan/filter. because 4x4 has a lower gearing. The 2WD version has a flatter downpipe on the other side. The lining is excellent. No leaks. Feels high quality. I'm assuming it's a cork type that absorbs some liquid and then swells to seal it even better.

  • Cool Product

The exchangeable filter is not a custom-made product!

Large filter fits perfectly, no problem. But the replaceable filter is a bit wider at the base. Where the filter rotates, it sits DIRECTLY ON THE gear case, ZERO play. The filter is very very difficult to turn towards the end, I had to use the filter with a wrench and then I removed the plastic steps on the filter. I ended up going to my local dealership and was able to buy a Mopar filter for $26, so I had to spend extra money, ACTUALLY SPEND MORE than if I had Mopar OEM parts to begin with.

Good kit but not the best Cork Gasket

Firstly it fits my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 and doesn't leak. . The cork pad came folded quite a bit in the kit along with some pretty sharp turns. I really didn't want to fit in my pan. I put the spacer between two pieces of wood and pressed it down with a 5 gallon paint bucket for 3 days until it straightened out. I then installed a gasket with silicone to keep it on the pan. There might be a bug with this one, but I've always done it with other cork pads. As I started tightening the transmission…

2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 4x4

This is a perfect match for my 2009 Dodge Ram. I found the gasket a bit flimsy, but it didn't leak, so I think it's fine. A few installation tips. Make sure the old panel filter gasket is out of the gear case before installing the new one. I installed the gasket first and then the filter, which allowed for a better and tighter fit on the filter. The other filter is simply screwed on like an oil filter. Remember to lubricate the round filter before fitting it onto the gasket by applying some oil
