Just like downtown good for gears and transmissions

1989 Jeep Wrangler app. Works as described. Easy installation. Good guide if you're interested. Seriously, good guide, quality product. Works well. Happy with my investment.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • unreliable

Even I was able to install it and it does what it says on the tin.

It was easy to install. I followed the instructions and watched a few videos. Images in directions are a bit narrow in some cases. Plus it's installed, my 4x4 works 100% when I want it, AND the 4x4 light works! Class! MUCH easier than messing around with vacuum lines.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some minor issues

PSL900 Posi-Lock in Axle

Works as it should, no problems so far, easy installation. My only complaint is the flimsy mounting bracket, it only has one mounting hole and mine still wants to point to the side instead of straight where I wanted it to be. All in all a good buy if I can recommend it. Used it on an '89 Cherokee with a Dana30 (from an '87) and a 3.5" lifter.

Good instructions, easy installation, works well.

Relatively easy installation, detailed instructions easy to follow. Fixed a faulty vacuum system on my YJ and the 4WD indicator on the dash still works. The only thing I would recommend are the new CAD cover screws, they weren't included but I was able to pick them up at my local hardware store. 1/4x20 1 inch in case anyone else needs the size.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Uncertain

Works great love the low 2wd variant

I recommend this to anyone driving a jeep with FAD. Never a problem with vacuum, direct mechanical linkage, adding selectable 2wd low which is an expensive option when trying to fit a double stick or long shaft derailleur for the np231. The only thing I don't like is the cable routing, it's a bit inconvenient to route the cable somewhere where it won't touch any moving parts or hot surfaces. You can also switch to 4WD and then toggle FAD on or off "on the fly". This is how Toyota switches on…

good to go! - Axis

Don't mess with this thing. This cord is so big I thought it was a garden hose in a box. CELEBRATION. Installation was easy. I installed mine in the dash so I didn't have to use that one screw mount that others have heard complaining about. I like the fact that it also rotates and closes. You can tighten it up a bit when snapping and releasing. In general, there really are no complaints. I wish I had made a line art. If it will allow me to update the post later I will add a photo. If, like me…

Installed, works, but.

The product is well assembled and packaged. The installation is quite easy. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the installation guide didn't provide any information about the two installation steps. Pros —* All parts come in a box with instructions (more on that later)* It's built really well and looks like it'll last a long time if you keep the cord away from moving, hot, or sharp objects. Following the info sheet advice, I covered the cable in unsafe spots with small pieces of…
