I recommend this to anyone driving a jeep with FAD. Never a problem with vacuum, direct mechanical linkage, adding selectable 2wd low which is an expensive option when trying to fit a double stick or long shaft derailleur for the np231. The only thing I don't like is the cable routing, it's a bit inconvenient to route the cable somewhere where it won't touch any moving parts or hot surfaces. You can also switch to 4WD and then toggle FAD on or off "on the fly". This is how Toyota switches on the fly.
