No more gasket leaks

Very well made. Much thicker than the stock seal. I've used this with a high capacity Delray sump and the stock sump bolts work.

Pros
  • Gaskets require no sealant, allowing for quick removal and installation of transmission pans
Cons
  • Available in white only

Hands down the best seal

This seal looks high quality and is reliable. Installed it with a Moroso pan and it sealed and fitted absolutely perfectly. I would 100% use it again and recommend it to everyone. Put it on and forget it, don't worry about it leaking.

Pros
  • Manufactured from 40 hard rubber vulcanized into a strong steel frame
Cons
  • No instructions

does what it says in Transmission and Transmission

Put this on my show 99 (5.4L w/ 4r100) when I upgraded the transmission pan to an enlarged Derale sump. Glad I bought these instead of relying on Derale to supply a quality seal. Don't get me wrong, they shipped one with a pallet, but it was a cheap flimsy rubber grommet. This gasket is THICK, with metal inserts around the bolt holes. Definitely the quality I'm used to from Moroso.

Pros
  • Fitment Type: Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • Expensive

Not recommended for oil pan on 1994 F150

I gave this gasket 5 stars because it is clearly a quality product from a legendary manufacturer. Other than that it is not recommended for stamped stock. - Steel pan on a 1994 Ford F150. This info is from the Summit Racing website.I've noticed that some reviewers of the Revain have had issues with leaks and after investigating I found I can't use it because I have a stock sump I'm sure we have the most. If you have a non-original finished pan this is probably a good choice. Unfortunately Iโ€ฆ

Ok for the first few weeks, now it's leaking.

I didn't over tighten the drain pan bolts but this gasket is leaking just three weeks after installing it on my Ford E4OD. It is used on a quality brand new transmission pan. To be honest I think you would want a transmission pan with a flat machined pan edge rather than the typical stamped steel or aluminum construction. But I can see where an edge of the gasket has split and that's where the leak is. Replaces traditional rubberized cork gaskets and Honda sealant. This usually fixes leaks forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Rubber/steel gasket outperforms cork composites for years of reliable service
Cons
  • weak

does what it says on parts

Put this on my 99th show (5.4L with 4r100) when I upgraded the front oil pan to a larger Derale oil pan. Glad that I bought it instead of relying on Derale to provide a quality gasket. Don't get me wrong they shipped one with a pallet but it was a cheap thin rubber gasket. This gasket is THICK with metal inserts around the Screw holes Definitely the quality I've come to expect from Moroso.

Pros
  • 3/16" full thickness
Cons
  • High price

Not recommended for oil pan on 1994 F150

I gave this gasket 5 stars because it is clearly a quality product from a legendary manufacturer. However, this is not recommended for the standard stamped steel sump on the 1994 Ford F150. This information comes from the Summit Racing website. I've noticed that some Revain reviewers have had issues with leaks and after doing some research I've found that I can't use it as there is a swamp that I'm sure most of us have . If you have a non-genuine finished pan, this is probably a good choiceโ€ฆ
