Works very well in an old (Late 2013-2019) Mac Pro.

I am using this adapter with a SAMSUNG 980 PRO 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen4 M.2 internal gaming SSD in a late 2013-2019 Mac Pro, a junk Mac. It works very well with no problems sleeping, rebooting, etc. This adapter allows me to use one of the most powerful (and largest capacity) SSDs on the market.

Pros

Easy installation with FREE upgrade screwdriver; It can't support recovery from the Internet, it is important to prepare a USB hard disk boot driver, M.2 PCIe has no internal OS, it needs to be cleared first, NOT suitable for external SSD enclosure;
