I LOVE these shoes. This is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. I am a topo lover and regular customer. but this is my new favorite. You work a little less. I bought my normal size and then returned a half size larger. I usually buy 7 (medium or regular width). They may stretch a little after wearing for a long time, so if you like tight shoes, choose your normal size. They can be worn with or without socks. These are meant to be "walking or recovery running shoes" but I wear them for short runs on the treadmill. I like doing them too.
