Review on HONOR Band 5 Global Smart Bracelet, Black by Wiktor Czerwiski ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

A little disappointed, a bad purchase.

In short, this is a child's toy that some adult women might like using to give the impression that they are working out. ...or tech-obsessed youth. Definitely bad for sports. The price of a regular heart rate monitor appears to be at least three times more. However, this is true of all sporting goods. The solution you're looking for remains elusive. Instead of considering the bare minimum, manufacturers tend to increase the quantity of features. The biggest issue is that it stops functioning when shaken. Not a pulse monitor!

Pros
  • Wristband construction and closure. Relaxing, fashionable, and discrete. Normal resting heart rate and step count. Inaccuracy is less than 2% at most. It's optimized for use with a mobile device.
Cons
  • During training, I saw that my heart rate peaked at 128 and averaged 99 when it should have been closer to 160 and 130, respectively. Choose the type of heart rate monitor that best fits your needs. When its primary function—pulse measurement—is considered, it is clear that the device does not address the issue. The blood oxygen level is another source of deception. For instance, while at rest, it displays a significant range (from 97 to 100%).
