Updated review: - bought to trim ends to avoid split ends - had a few split ends here and there before using it to cut my hair - didn't like it at first chemically rubber smell inside - all ends trimmed - 5 days after cutting I was horrified to find hundreds and hundreds of split ends. These are not professional scissors. The reason it is so important to use professional hair scissors is that they are very delicate. Cutting your hair with anything less than a razor sharp edge will ruin the ends of your hair and leave you with split ends. I'm so sad!
