Review on Lenovo C22-10 21.5" Anti-Glare Monitor with HDMI and Wall Mount – 1920x1080P, 60Hz by Mikey Hickman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I want to love him but.

I have a lot of experience with monitors in this price range and was hoping it would be a great value choice, but unfortunately it wasn't the case. It's terrible? No, not terrible. It just doesn't work well in different areas. The biggest issue I see (or don't see) is better contrast. The color started off as an off-white no matter what (I've tried 3 different cables and tried HDMI and VGA) and no matter what I do it remains a VERY light off-white tint. It's not very, very colorless, but enough to drive me a little crazy at first. I use it as a second monitor for work, so it's not my main monitor, but it still takes a long time to get used to. BUT I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. The only thing that still bothers me is that when I look at something like a lightbulb on the screen against a white background, the edges kind of disappear. If it makes sense I plugged it into the dock and wondered why it looked a little different, but then realized I have a different monitor using the same dock with no contrast. Pros: big monitor, Full HD (1080) I haven't had any refresh rate issues (but I don't use it for gaming) I like how thin it is. it's not super thin, but it's not insanely thick (however, that's subjective) Power cord Cons: Lack of many options to adjust the image Thick borders Not great color or contrast Not the best value I think it's ok for work or whatever, if you're not interested in graphic design or photo editing, but I think it's a good monitor for things like finance/accounting etc. For me it's not bad, but it's not outstanding either (or my first choice) . I think it has the space and could fill the need but I would rate it 3.5 stars if I could.

Pros
  • VGA and HDMI ports make it easy to connect this PC monitor to your desktop, laptop or game console. VGA cable included
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
