Reliable product - highly recommended

After using domestic dehumidifiers for decades that gave up the ghost within a few years, I discovered the world of commercial dehumidifiers a few years ago. I wish I had learned this sooner; I would save a lot of money in the long run. This is the third Alorair product that I have purchased in the last few years. I permanently installed Sentinel HDi90 and Uni-P Dry Pro 120X to dry basements and basements in individual buildings. I've just purchased an Alorair STORM LGR Extreme with Wi-Fi for intermittent use in a part of my house that never seems dry enough in the summer despite air conditioning and a crawl space dehumidifier. The product was well packaged and has a solid 70#. The cord and hose are of good quality and the indicator in the plug shows that the socket is live. The top handles make it easy to move. It has a built in pump and is slightly smaller than my HDi90. The device can be programmed to work via the built-in LCD display, or connected via WiFi in two different ways. There are several programming options that are not available on traditional dryers (e.g. controlling the rinse function). The device also provides much more real-time information such as intake and exhaust data. It has a memory reboot which I need due to frequent power outages. After downloading the app to my iPhone, I set up the device with the home wifi option. It took me several tries to install the software, mainly because I didn't read the instructions on the iPhone. After following the instructions correctly, everything installed without any problems. Now I can control and manage the device remotely. The Alorair R app has many features that I think would be very useful for a commercial restoration company. You can create work schedules, assign dehumidifiers, track dehumidifiers with GPS and control it all from your phone. These devices are modular and can be stacked on top of each other. So far the device has kept my 700sqm. feet dry. We've had historic rainfall recently, but there haven't been any problems with indoor humidity. It's relatively quiet despite the high CFM and I'm happy with it. Highly recommended
