This works as intended. I have the USB-A version of Qubii Duo. I recommend that you watch the video first before trying it yourself. After installing the microSD card, stacking and downloading the Qubii Pro app, the first boot took over 2 hours (for iPhone 8). After the initial backup, I checked the readability of the map and image backups on the PC. Images get new filenames, but you can still tell from the filename when the photos were taken. New photo creation was also tested, and the tested Qubii application was able to identify new ones for backup. I double checked by reading the map on a PC. It's definitely a great thing, especially since Samsung and the iPhone want you to pay for cloud photo storage. High value in terms of quality and cost savings.
