The light shade cannot be fixed. The fan is good and powerful.

I would have given more stars if the lighter hue was fixed. Every other LED light in my house has a tint that you can change with a switch and it's fixed to that color. It's like a roulette wheel - every time you turn it on you get a new color and there's no way to fix it. I would return it if it wasn't already installed as I didn't know until it was installed. So if all you want is a fan, it actually looks good and is really powerful. If you also need light, look for something else. The instructions only describe half of the steps, but we've already installed the fans so we can piece together what's needed.
