I have had several memory foam pillows to find the comfort that suits me. I like a pillow under the neck, less under the head. I am fine. I had one of these pillows and eventually my wife got too uncomfortable to stand on it. She threw it away. I was devastated. Since then I've been looking for a pillow that works. When I saw this design I thought it would be too much for what I wanted, but I saw that neck support and a lower head position. I had to have that thing. So experience. gas for a while. It comes without instructions. Just a pillow wrapped in plastic. Yes. It's that easy. So open up, release pressure, release gas. If you are sensitive to the smell of foam, you may want to remove it from the area for a few days or more. Not me. I let it get all fluffy and slept on it the first night. It's not as full and fluffy as I expected, but it's about the right height to keep my neck and head in the most comfortable position. my preference for sleep. I usually lie on my side for a few minutes and then sleep on my back all night. Both positions were comfortable and I didn't try to shape it or adjust the pillow. I just lay down and fell asleep. That is the goal. So that's a win. I haven't noticed any heat build-up or woken up with a sweaty head or anything, so it seems breathable enough to be comfortable year-round. It fits in a standard pillowcase so you can keep it a little cleaner along with the included washable cover. Hopefully this will deter someone from throwing away their favorite pillow. To be honest I've ordered another one very similar to this one and it sleeps exactly the same. The other came in a box with a fancier case and I believe it had some sort of instruction card. More retail packaging. I see no difference in the practical sleep function. So if this one looks the same as the others you're considering and if it's cheaper, get this one. I doubt there's any difference in how you'll sleep, regardless of what other marketing articles say.
