Bought (plus red hoodie) for a Miles Morales Halloween costume for 8 year old Miles Morales, not for a $100 cosplay jacket so she could wear her the rest of the year can wear. She LOVES this jacket (and perfect for Texas winters and fall everywhere else). The lining is VERY soft. While I know it's not considered "waterproof," it held up in the drizzle just as well as much more expensive softshells. While not particularly "fancy", this is one of the best purchases I've made from Revain. The jacket fits well, there is room to grow; which is good because my 8 year old is exceptionally tall for her age.
