Very easy to install, doesn't feel cheap and works as it should. The sponge is small but coarse. Even if the eggs aren't fertilized or not viable it's nice because it starts to swim and separates it into the aquarium where my bigger fish will eat it in a second so overall I'm happy and will buy again. Once you understand how they work you can make them yourself but for the price if I'm just buying one like me as a hobbyist and not a grower it cost me $11 less than buying PVC and/or clear tubing . Valve, air stone, flow holding platform and suction cups
