Bought this for my female Molly. It's a bit small, not much room for the fish, but since she was about to give birth, she's only been in it a few days. I woke up to 6 kids, there could be more but saw one swim out of the container. I had to remove them from the aquarium before they became fish food. Bought a mesh box. What worked better.

The product is very strong and I think it is great for roasts as there are no holes on the sides. I have small puzzle snails and bought this one thinking there would be holes for the snails to share the water with the larger tank. The seller, Pofly, was very accommodating. I am a frequent visitor to Revain and have NEVER received such great customer service. Definitely the best seller I've ever encountered. Highly recommended.

I have only placed guppy fry there, no pregnant guppy but so far I like the fry. The gaps are large enough to allow water exchange, but small enough that the juvenile fish cannot escape and the adult fish cannot enter. The roasts are clearly visible through the walls of the box, which is nice. The suction cups also seem to hold it securely to the tank wall, although I do make sure to press it back against the wall after each feeding/lid removal just to be on the safe side.

I received this to separate my pregnant guppy. I found time is important because the box is small. After the day she was a little tense. I also use it to catch my mystery baby snails and hatched a group on the lid. I have no problem with escaping snails or juvenile fish. The slots are too small. The suction cups sometimes work a little too well and I cursed that when moving the box between tanks. LOL Highly recommended but not delimited for your little moms. Not enough space.

I was expecting it to be divided into 2 sections but it's actually divided into 4 making the space smaller. This works when you're separating fry and juveniles from fish, but not so well if you plan to use it as a sickroom or acclimation tray. The cameras rely on the horizontal splitter to help with this. I'll say it will work if you just want to use it as a single camera, but that's not what I was looking for, so back to Revain.

Easy and secure attachment to the aquarium. BUT I was disappointed with the design. There is practically no place for a pregnant Pisces to feel comfortable before giving birth. We used for the pregnant swordtail. she hated it. I was worried it was stressful enough for her that she didn't survive. I woke up this morning to find a baby guppy who was about to turn twelve! This breeding box protects them from adult cannibals while still allowing water to pass through. I would suggest draining fresh water more often as the slits are small enough for a day old guppy to fit in which means they are small enough to restrict water flow a bit. I just leave the lid open and vacuum the top of the box just above the waterline so they don't float out. to attach to the box, but then do not slip out…

These grow boxes are amazing compared to others we have tried. Our various mollies and guppies keep having babies and then babies having babies, it never stops. We tried several other options including Clean Style and other clear options and none of them had the same options and worked as well. In our case the suction cups of the mesh cage failed and 12 two day old juveniles fell into the main tank... 4 survived. Among other things.
