One of the best budget cameras. hands down For current users, I strongly recommend that you do the following: Go to Menu --> Setup --> Beep (Page 2) --> Turn off Beep Volume and Electronic Shutter Volume. At first it annoyed me a lot. and I was happy to find it in the settings. Battery saving options can also be found on page 2 of settings such as live view (30 fps), monitor brightness and economy mode. Pros: Photo quality is very good and sharp, even with a 12-60mm kit lens. The image quality and bokeh effect are amazing in combination with the 25mm f1.7 lens. The dual stabilization is really good for photos and even better for videos. The two custom settings on the watch face are very useful for saving your own shooting modes. I personally save shutter priority videos in different recording formats (e.g. 4k30fps, FHD60fps). There are also plenty of Fn keys for customization. There are also color profiles for recordings that you can customize. I find the Natural profile most comfortable for videos. There's also Cine-D for those who want a flatter look or for color grading. Weather protection - there is nothing to say here but "very good"! When working with a Nikon APSC camera, I'm amazed at how light and durable the mirrorless form factor is. It's not that tiring to hold in your hands all day. The full rotation LCD screen is really handy for selfie/vlogging. Finally. Video. That's probably why most buyers are here, and yes. it doesn't disappoint. The detail is amazing! BUT the real shock is the image stabilization. Paired with Dual Image Stabilizer and EIS enabled, the video practically glides (especially at wider angles of 12mm). I'm not joking. Walking with the camera is smooth, without judder. Cons: Photos only up to 16 MP, although I still find the image quality to be very good, even though the image was cropped in editing. I found the image a bit noisy at high ISOs (6400 and above), although that doesn't really bother me. I find that gives naturalness to low-light shots. You can always reduce it with a little noise reduction in Lightroom and other software. Small crop for 4k video recording. It wasn't a disadvantage for me, but others may think so. There is a lot to learn in the settings of this camera. Take the time to read the advanced guide. Experiment! So I can highly recommend it. If you're standing on a fence, jump over it!
