Image color and design is the same as shown. I really like pink, lavender, gold marble colors. It goes well with my HP Pro book. However, I am deducting a point because it can be difficult to crop to size. I thought the pictures showed chart lines on the back of the leather, which I thought would make the process easier, but they weren't. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and knew jagged/wobbly edges would drive me crazy so I watched a few installation videos, took my time and measured a few times before my scissors broke. I had absolutely no problems with gargling. I only worked on small areas at a time, using a credit card to smooth them out, gradually removing the backing. In the end, I'm happy with the results, and while I see a few downsides, they're minor. just be careful I was afraid to spend $12 and ruin everything. There are more expensive versions tailored for your laptop, but I think it works if you're patient and careful. I've only applied it so I can't say how it will hold up over time. I hope it doesn't start peeling off anytime soon as it took some effort to apply.
