I wanted very good protection for my first iPhone. I switched from Android to iPhone and wow what a learning experience. I've had my old phone for four years as I'm the only one who keeps a phone while others often have to buy the newest one. So after transferring what could have been to my new phone, the nice person at tmobile put my case on. I have to say that this thick plastic element makes the top of the phone less sensitive to touch. It pays for me to keep the phone as clean as possible. Once this case snaps into place, it's REALLY difficult to remove. But I'm getting used to it, I've had my phone for almost a week now. If you've spent a lot of money on a phone, buy a good case. I love that it comes in all colors. You can use lavender on a pink phone, I have a red phone and it turned red. But it makes a good device even better.
