Bad production? in light bulbs

Okay I bought this light bulb to use with a 600w Solistek Dual Digital Ballast. The first did not catch fire on the third day of use, although no damage was visible. The replacement bulb exploded when switched on and the solder joint was visibly broken. Packages have arrived safely, so we can assume that it is a manufacturing defect. Just ordered 6k, everything came. and i love the solis tek ballast which works great with all types of lamps.
