Okay, get ready for a story. i love long hair I usually have a few pounds of braids on my head or some fun wild curls. I bought these scarves to complement the style I like to wear. But, as you understand, they did not fit my lush hair! They're not very tall at all (again for me, for those who like luscious hair). And I wanted to send them back because I don't need them if they don't fit. Life got in the way, I missed the deadline. Spring. Fast forward TWO YEARS. I'm on my way to beautiful natural hair. I decided that little hair is just as beautiful. I tend to rock baby fros or various tapered haircuts. In a wild and pathetically unfortunate turn of events, I get one hell of a haircut. My friend forgot to use the safety guard (I know, I know) and just hit me in the head with wire cutters. When she got halfway through her stroke the damage was done and we had to cut off almost EVERYTHING leaving only a small strand of hair on her head. Now I'm not a very shy person. And for some women, being bald or almost bald looks beautiful on them. I'm not one of those women. Given my sudden insecurity, I needed something to cover my head, especially at night, so I could still go to work. Miraculously, I remembered these scarves I had bought before. They are. Came. W gossip. I almost cried, I was so happy. And since all my hair is gone, it more than fits my head! They are silky and soft and I've had several compliments on the variety of designs over the past week. Hence five stars from me. When I first bought them they weren't what I needed. But I'm glad I hid them!
