Ordered for a trip to Iceland. It works great with my Fuji XT-2. My cameras have L-shaped RRS plates, so I attached an RRS clamp to the frame. This will reduce the distance between the top and bottom plates by about 1/2 inch. So I tried my Nikon D-800. Fits with no problems. The position of the top and bottom panels can be easily adjusted for greater heights. However, I forgot to bring something to mount an external microphone. Left the cold/hot shoe mount at home. I ended up using zip ties to secure the mic to the top plate. I would recommend getting a cold shoe and strapping it to the frame. Also, I ordered a grip (made in 1984) containing a cold shoe when I got back. This improves the balance of equipment. Haven't used the pen and mic yet - too busy at work or in the garden.
