it's been good for a while

I liked this Bluetooth speaker for a while and was impressed with the volume, sound quality and reliability. but those weren't the reasons I bought this speaker. I was under the impression that the battery life was worth the hype, but it wasn't. If you let it fully charge before each use, it definitely lasted a while. It took several hours to charge though, and unless I let it charge to 100% the battery didn't last very long (no more than an hour, if you're lucky then two). and even worse, after about six months of use, the charging port broke. The problem isn't in the cables, it's in the speaker itself. Another problem I had was that the rubber on the bottom didn't stick to the speaker very well, so if you leave it on a hard surface at moderate to high volume . , you will hear the speaker vibrate against the surface it is placed on. I got lucky with a $20 speaker from Amazon Basics, I've had several and had to replace them just because I lost them. If I decide to splurge on another Bluetooth speaker again, I'll probably go back to this one.

Pros
  • Massive Sound: A force to be reckoned with, the Crasher XL is a sleek, sleek sound machine. Three drivers and two passive subwoofers deliver signature JLab C3 (Crystal Clear Clarity) sound in a robust package. Our 30W AUDIO POWER is 88% more powerful than our closest competitor.*
