Bought this to go with my Graco Modes Pramette as the one that came with the travel system didn't really matter to me. This one looked much more supportive, softer and more comfortable for the baby. Installation is not difficult, especially for new cars. snaps directly into the stroller with or without a full seat. The seat itself isn't too heavy, but it does feel heavy with a child in it. feels sturdy and not light. I look forward to using it when the baby is born in a few months. I recommend that you have someone check the installation once in the hospital to be 100% sure it is installed correctly. Most hospitals will still do this before sending you home, but if they don't, you should ask them.
