Review on Enhanced Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick for PS3 & Windows by Iori Yagami

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Great model for those who are just starting to fly. There are several reasons for this. The very first is the price. You get quite a decent RUD and RUS for affordable money. And do not listen to those who scream about poor accuracy, huge dead zone, etc. The only thing I agree on is contact resistors. They quickly start making noise. But! This problem is solved by soldering the joystick to the Hall sensors. Believe me, it's not difficult at all. Personally, for me, who absolutely never soldered anything, it was not difficult to solder 6 wires (3 for each sensor). Soldering instructions are available online. I did everything according to her description. Thanks to this, the accuracy has increased significantly. Next is the layout of the buttons and the shape of the joystick. I personally do not have a thin hand at all, and my fingers are not particularly long. However, I get to all the buttons quite normally, without fidgeting with my hands. That is, I put my hands on the joystick and all the buttons under my fingers + shook on the ore. The only 2 buttons that are on the ore (gray at its base) are located so that you have to remove your hand and press them separately. In RUS, the hand lies like a glove. I don’t know about others, but I had a feeling as if the shape of the pen was made to order for me, I don’t exclude that I was just so lucky. Eventually. If you have not yet decided whether you are an airplane fan or not, but want to try it without spending too much on expensive "professional" devices, then this is your choice. Further, if you are drawn in, then you yourself will decide what next joystick you will get for yourself. But personally, I don’t want to part with this joystick, so now I want to convert it into a floor-standing speaker, plus modify it a little. It was a reasonable price at that time - about 4000.

Pros
  • A full-fledged RUD + RUS for a very reasonable price. Ergonomic handle and comfortable button layout. Huge opportunities for individual modification for do-it-yourselfers.
Cons
  • Contact resistance sensors really quickly start to make noise.

Its pros: Full HOTAS for 2022! Very convenient location and number of buttons There is a twist. Different cons: Minor disadvantages: Just one hut. Lives only a year. Throttle with fixation in the center
