The bench arrives preassembled, except for a few small parts, so it's simple to get set up.The quality is pretty good. The padding is thinner than some benches, but not bad.The pin they use to adjust the seat positions is odd, compared to others. It works fine, but takes a moment to unscrew it, then screw it back in again, after adjusting. I don't know why they used a pin that screws into place, instead something like a lock pin or cotter pin. I assume, other types of pins would be cheaper to make also, than the type used with this bench.The gap between the bench sections felt odd at first, but I got used to it quickly.Overall, it's a nice weight bench.Based on other benches I saw, I had an idea about putting resistance bands around the leg of the bench, and it works well.
