I love this brush but seriously doubt it is a real silver tip badger (firstly the price is too low to be a real silver tip). It's definitely fur and probably a badger, but I suspect it's what is commonly referred to as a "pure badger" that has been bleached and dyed to look like a silver tip. the first brush for beginners in wet shaving. It foams well, retains moisture and heat well. It tends to lose a bit, especially the first few times of use. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in wet shaving and doesn't want to spend a fortune on their first brush. Definitely grab this instead of one of those cheap synthetic brushes in the shaving section of your local big store.
