I bought 3 of these connectors to easily move the DVR between cars. The switch worked for a car hookup; Lexus 350 2007 The two switches do nothing. They are used in the 2007 Acura MDX and the 2016 Ford Expedition. The dash cam turns on in both of these cars, but you have to remember to turn the power on and off manually. The switch may be defective or the vehicles are not compatible. I checked the incompatible vehicle list before purchasing and did not see my Acura or Ford listed. It would be nice if the seller could send a new one so I can determine if the switch is defective.
