Review on πŸ‘“ Foster Grant Men's Multifocus Reading Glasses Rectangular Black/Transparent 54mm +2: The Perfect Eyewear for Men by Danny Trapanese

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The BEST reading glasses I've ever had!

These multifocal progressive lenses are exactly what I was looking for. I'm a writer and I sit at my computer for many hours every day. I wear contact lenses for distance, but they don't look good up close. These Foster Grant glasses are perfect for me. I bought the 2.0 power version which gives me 2.0x on the bottom, 1.5x in the middle and 1.0 on the top. I look over my glasses to see something in the distance. There are no creases in these progressive lenses to affect my vision. I just have to tilt my head to get more magnification. The 1.0x lens part allows me to sit one to three feet from my computer monitor with perfect view for writing my books. When I look at the keyboard, the 2.0x part turns on, which makes all the keyboard keys look nice and crisp. If I pick something up to look at it at arm's length, a 1.5x range will make my view very clear at arm's length. The progressive areas are wide enough to work well without blurring the edges. The quality of the frame and hard plastic lenses is exceptional, comparable to any pair of glasses I have purchased. The hinges have extension springs that allow you to push the frames apart without breaking them while you're putting on your glasses. The springs hold the glasses firmly to the face without pressing too hard. There's a soft tint on the lenses that seems to remove the blue cast and warms up what you're seeing a bit. Probably good for late night reading. Full size nose pads are very comfortable and flexible to adjust. Best reading glasses I've ever had for the price. I highly recommend them (and I mean highly) for writers, programmers, or anyone who has to sit at their computer all day and needs a little boost to help aging eyes. I will be buying an extra pair for the future if this frame style is ever discontinued. Great work Foster Grant!
