Excellent general purpose welding rod. Ideal for dirty or rusty steel! Very little slag, very good penetration, easy burn, very good puddles to fill a larger gap. I used a 1/8" bar with a 3/32 setting and my little machine handled it with no problem! I haven't welded in over 30 years and I still make amazing welds with this pole!
