I usually buy L because my waist is smaller than my waist. But the belt at the waist was still too big. I've had this skirt for a year and LOVE IT. I'm currently trying to figure out a way to change the waist belt. The pockets are PERFECT and this 5ft 9in lady is calf length. It's so warm and flowing and my cowgirl boots jingle underneath. - The line is pretty wide. I'm just worried that if I buy a size M it won't be the length I want. Nice changes for me. I hope I can fix the A-line, side zip and side pockets together. Maybe just tuck the elastic into the back waistband. hhhmmmm….
