The instructions aren't very clear, but it's easy to use and lightweight. I'm not exactly sure what the blocking feature is even for bc, is it blocked or not, you can still write to it. You should be able to erase what you've drawn with a single press of the erase button, but sometimes you have to press the button multiple times to erase. It may be due to another function, but since the instructions are not clear, it is difficult to understand. My 4 year old loves it but the fuzzy instructions are a bit annoying at times and he loses interest.
