It works! I've searched everywhere for a 1/4" jack cable to work with my two Shure SM57 microphones for studio recording of instruments and vocals. I found a 25 foot cable at work (purchased from Radio Shack), which worked great but I borrowed one and needed my own reliable cables. Also they were too long and bulky for my purpose and needed replacement cables in case they failed.Have tried other more expensive brands and got nothing but hum and noise What? I knew the mics were good as the loaned cable worked well. Based on the reviews I gave these a try even though they are cheap. Wow! Both worked like clockwork so I ordered two more. Great cables for me at a great price Virtually no noise (depending on how loud you turn it up), no static, clear connection Lots of good stuff.
