Only lasted a week, good for toddler toys

My son used them in the bathroom last week and 2 animals are already exhausted and no longer glowing. I'm disappointed with the durability I expected much longer at the time. We don't bathe for more than 10 minutes and some days it's too cold for a full bath so it's quickly rinsed off. I always make sure they don't stay on the water and don't come into contact with it. I turn them upside down to dry so I don't know why they're dying so quickly.
