Review on ๐Ÿšฐ Hansgrohe 88624000 Pull-Out Hose: Small Chrome Kitchen Faucet Accessory for Enhanced Convenience by Luis Green

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not as easy as shown in the U-Tube video, but it's done.

I was about to install this product to replace a damaged exhaust faucet when a severe winter storm hit Texas. I'm starting my comment with this because 2 plumbers who were here with another problem installed this replacement. Even with her knowledge, it wasn't easy for her to pull out the old pipe or whatever it is called and remove the end pieces. Something they have done many times even got 2 men in trouble. I was lucky they were there to take care of it. 'Cause if two plumbers were fighting to get the old one out, I'm sure I'd go insane. A note: During those terrible Texas freezes, I genuinely thought the same water line would have frozen with a vent faucet. I couldn't get water to drip even before we lost power. The house was so cold because of the constant power cuts. And then 2 days without warming up. There was no water from the kitchen faucet for a week. We learned that because the faucet was damaged by this particular product, it froze in the cord before we could drain the water. In other words, just a small leak between the faucet head and THAT faucet cord caused it to freeze instantly. I mention this because that small connection between the faucet head and that cord could have created a major problem and resulted in pipes breaking due to freezing when it was 32 degrees in the house. Yes, this cold for days. Don't put off repairing your kitchen faucet if your government electric company can't keep the promise it made years ago. When the Super Bowl was held in the DFW area, due to inclement weather and local residents' promises to never lose power the way they did. Therefore, make sure that everything to do with water works in winter.
