Review on ๐ŸŽฎ DOYO Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch - 2.4GHZ Gamepad Joystick Remote for PS3 & PC - Supports Gyro Axis and Dual Vibration - Black by Tai Waldbillig

Revainrating 2 out of 5

D-Pad does not work on Android devices or PCs. The joystick is terrible.

The controller is convenient. However, what feels wrong is that the joystick feels too high, and without rubber or a rougher surface, your thumb is more likely to slip off. What do you think. Also the rebound is too extreme. (For example, you're playing an RPG and you're scrolling through a list of abilities, you press down to select an ability and press A. But the joystick's recoil caused you to randomly select the one above.) And the jumping one Point The problem is the joysticks. I bought this controller to play retro games, mainly on my Android device, but I decided to test it on as many devices as possible: SwitchIt works. It works very well. There is no lag or anything like that. Every button works. The only problem is that you have to manually sync it with your console every time you want to use it. This is a short but annoying process that you have to complete even if you pause the system for a short time. Android device: Unlike a Switch, it stays connected as long as Bluetooth is on. The problem with this is that the Android device does not recognize the directional pad. And from what I've described what a joystick is, you probably already know where it goes. Playing 2D games with a (lousy) joystick is no fun at all. By the way, I tried this on 2 Android devices. Tried PCT on PC. Same pros and cons as an Android device. Recognizes no cross. Let me play with the joystick. If I waited, I could get a third-party wireless GameCube controller from Walmart for $5. I give it 2 stars because at least it works and it's comfortable, but that's not all. Perfect for my gaming needs. I will try to bring it back as I prefer not to play anything at all.

Pros
  • Double vibration feedback
Cons
  • Expensive
