This is my first selfie stick tripod so I may not be able to compare it to any other product. But I really like it because it fits both my phone and my iPad, which allows me to take photos with the iPad. It remains very stable even with an iPad Pro and makes a great stand for Zoom meetings. It's not really recommended to give to the older generation as things that fit on the phone/iPad are pretty hard to pull out. Second, if you like a small selfie stick, don't recommend it as it can hold an iPad Pro, which means it's not small. Otherwise, I love the wireless/bluetooth remote and highly recommend it ^^
