So first of all it's a medium tan not beige lol. The material is semi-thin and transparent. They are soft and comfortable, I think they have 10-15mmHg compression. Not tight but not too loose, sit in place. I bought these for my long flight, I have blood clots and use compression stockings for swelling when traveling and around the house at weekends. I prefer 30-40mmHg. Art. for the level of compression I need and see the best results with. My right leg has blood clots and my ankle is 11 inches long, most of my lower leg is 19 inches long and they are too long. Since they're meant to be calf sleeves lol I adapted them as open toe compression socks instead and it's ok they put pressure on the ankle and foot to avoid swelling. Overall they are decent and good for home or grocery shopping. However, I will not wear them in flight as the compression level is not what I expected. Again, they may work for you, it all depends on what level of compression you need/want. I will keep them.
