It says 12 1/2 inches. But that's not the case. It was 12 inches long. I can't even wrap it around my wrist twice. And it's too big for an anklet. The collar really chokes me. I wish they were aware of the size. I didn't even notice the length until I received it and I wanted to check "what did I buy?". It comes in a nice box with a small gift pouch and an identification report. I received two different colors, light and dark amber. So I put both of them together to make a longer chain. At least that's how I can use it. If you intend to use it with a child: here are the safety instructions for the child carrying it. So I'm concerned about even letting a child carry it as the warning says they can suffocate them while they sleep.
