I was concerned they would hurt after reading some of the reviews and because I have small ears for a grown woman. But these are very convenient. They come with pads of different sizes. I like the sound and the comfort. I didn't buy them for nose reversal. I guess if I cared I could use big pads to create a seal in the ear canal to block the noise. But I care more about comfort. Be that as it may, even with smaller pads, noise is blocked by 30-40%. Good product!
