. I tried the chunky splint but it makes getting in and out of it difficult when snuggled up and reading bedtime stories so I tried this one instead. We are very happy with this bumper. I put it under his mattress pad and it stays in place and it stays in place. My husband travels a lot for work so sometimes a little man comes into my bed so I took a second one to put in our bed for those nights. It is also easy to take it with us in hotels, so we no longer have to put chairs or pillows on the bed.
