I have been wearing a maritime ring for over 20 years. I feel weird without them - just like people who wear earrings every day. Recently, a ring I left hanging from my jeans caused some irritation. I found these and decided to try them based on other reviews I read. I'm so glad I bought them. No more hooks! I can still wear navy but don't have to worry about irritation. As I'm older (I'm in my 40's) and have a young daughter I think it looks a lot more appropriate. I will definitely recommend them to my other friends.
