Review on 6 Count Variety Tub of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser by Emily Oakes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I love these things for cleaning tennis shoes and countertops.

As silly as it sounds, it's surprising how difficult it can sometimes be to clean a countertop with soap and water. I even used Bartenders Friend since my countertop is Formica. It works well until I later realize that despite rinsing several times, it still leaves a white residue. Thought I would take a chance with this pack as it contains different types of sponges and give them a try. These things are great! At first you don't know what to do with them because they take a little getting used to. I'm used to rubbing until my shoulders hurt, but all you have to do is wet them well and let them do their job. You have already dissolved soap in the sponge. I've found that if I rub one side I can go back and wipe the blisters off the other. Then when I rinse the sponge in the sink, I hold the sponge HORIZONTALLY with the dirty side down and the dirt just washes out and I'm ready for the next section. However, remember that you cannot rub them as hard as some sponges and cleaning products. If you do this often enough, it will start to crumble. It does an excellent job of cleaning the kiln around the burners. The best I've tried. I have also used them to clean tennis shoes and they are amazing. I just got a pair that were meant to be "garden shoes" looking like new. Overall they last about as long as a sponge and I gave them 4 stars because I wish they had made them stiffer so they don't crumble under very high friction. However, they really helped me as I have a lot of pain in my shoulder and neck to facilitate my cleaning job.
